We are seeking a qualified and licensed insurance professional to join a successful State Farm Agent's team as a full-time Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR). This role is central to supporting business growth and delivering an outstanding customer experience through value-based conversations and attentive service. As a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR), you will play a vital part in building customer relationships and ensuring clients understand their insurance options and coverage.
Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture customer relationships by following up on inquiries and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to questions about insurance products, coverage details, billing inquiries, and documentation processing.
- Educate clients using a needs-based approach to help them understand available insurance options and make informed decisions.
- Support the insurance agency’s operations by scanning documents, managing data, and maintaining organized records within the system.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to achieving daily and long-term business goals.
- Provide timely and comprehensive activity reports to the agent, ensuring clear communication and accountability.
- Stay up to date on product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and complete ongoing education as necessary.
Qualifications
- Property & Casualty insurance license (required at time of hire).
- Life and Health insurance license (required at a later time, as directed).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening abilities.
- Organizational skills with a commitment to accuracy and timely completion of tasks.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and resolving problems.
- Ability to collaborate with others in a team environment while managing multiple responsibilities.
- Adaptable and eager to learn new computer functions and insurance processes.
