The Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in supporting a State Farm Agent’s office, delivering exceptional customer service to new and existing insurance clients. As a full-time team member, you will leverage your expertise in both Property & Casualty and Life and Health insurance to respond to customer inquiries, educate policyholders about insurance options, and ensure ongoing client satisfaction. This position is designed for individuals who are licensed, proactive, and committed to maintaining high standards of service and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture customer relationships by following up with clients as needed to sustain long-term engagement.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by addressing questions regarding insurance availability, policy eligibility, coverage details, policy changes, transfers, claims submissions, and billing inquiries.
- Conduct needs-based reviews to educate customers about the full range of insurance products offered, ensuring they are informed about their options and can make confident decisions regarding their coverage.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to success by meeting daily, weekly, and monthly service goals while upholding the agency’s standards for professionalism and customer care.
- Generate and provide timely, thorough activity reports to the agent to keep the team informed and aligned with business objectives.
- Remain current with product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and continue professional education to maintain compliance and industry knowledge.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license (required).
- Active Life and Health insurance license (required).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including proficiency in written, verbal, and listening abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to solve problems efficiently.
