As a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in supporting clients and addressing their insurance needs through outstanding customer service and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities
- Provide exemplary customer service by answering phone calls with professionalism and courtesy.
- Handle inquiries, take thorough messages, and either resolve tasks directly or delegate them to appropriate team members.
- Process policy changes and endorsements for existing insurance policies utilizing proprietary, internet-based software systems.
- Gather, verify, and input accurate information to support the sales team in generating insurance quotes.
- Conduct annual policy reviews with clients, clearly explaining policy coverages and identifying opportunities for bundling products.
- Cross-sell insurance products to existing clients to meet their evolving needs and maximize value.
- Assist customers with claim submissions and provide guidance through the claims process.
- Discuss billing information, assist with payment processing, and resolve general account inquiries.
- Maintain a high standard of customer care, ensuring all client interactions reflect the agency’s commitment to service excellence.
Qualifications
- Possession of a Property & Casualty Insurance license is strongly preferred; individuals without a license must be willing to obtain one within 90 days of employment. Licensing training and fees are covered by the agency.
- Life and Health insurance license (must be obtained within 60 days of employment).
- Demonstrated willingness to learn, adaptability, and a strong sense of resourcefulness.
- Ability to maintain a positive, enthusiastic, and team-oriented mindset.
