Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting our insurance agency’s daily operations and providing exceptional customer service to both existing and prospective clients. Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships by following up with clients as needed, ensuring their satisfaction, and addressing concerns promptly.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by responding to inquiries related to insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Educate clients about their insurance options through customer-focused, needs-based review processes.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and maintain a commitment to success each day.
- Generate timely and thorough activity reports for the agent.
- Stay current on product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and industry best practices by participating in ongoing training and continuing education.
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain or currently hold a Florida 2-20 or 4-40 insurance license.
- Prior customer service experience and property/casualty insurance experience preferred.
- Bilingual language skills are a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and proactive in problem-solving.
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service and pride in completing work accurately and on time.
- Ability to learn and utilize computer functions relevant to the role.
- Must be able to commute daily to the office within a 20-mile/30-minute radius of the agency location in Florida.
