Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative (P&C) Position Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative (P&C) for a full-time opportunity with a State Farm Agent's team. As a vital contributor to a dynamic insurance agency, you will provide exceptional client service and participate in sales activities, utilizing your active Property and Casualty license to meet the needs of customers. Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain positive customer relationships through ongoing communication and follow-ups as needed.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, responding to inquiries regarding insurance products, coverages, eligibility, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Educate clients about available insurance options using a customer-focused, needs-based review process to ensure each customer is informed and confident in their coverage decisions.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and demonstrate a commitment to daily success in a team-oriented, fast-paced insurance environment.
- Utilize organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks, including providing thorough activity reports to the agent.
- Remain current on product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and continuing education to ensure compliance and up-to-date knowledge.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty license (required).
- Life and Health insurance license preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is strongly preferred to best serve a diverse client base.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Self-motivated and proactive in problem-solving with a dedication to high-quality customer service.
- Able to learn and use computer functions and agency management systems efficiently.
