Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative Job OverviewThe Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative is responsible for delivering outstanding service and support to clients in the insurance industry. As a vital member of the team, you will utilize your active Property and Casualty license to assist clients with their insurance needs, ensuring each interaction is handled with professionalism and care. Responsibilities- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, proactively following up with clients as needed to address their insurance concerns and questions.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by responding to inquiries related to insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Utilize a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate clients about their insurance options and help them make informed decisions regarding their coverage.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and demonstrate a commitment to achieving success on a daily basis.
- Active Property and Casualty license is required.
- Ability to obtain Life and Health license within 3 to 6 months of hire is necessary.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience with SalesForce is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including strong listening abilities.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the capability to proactively solve problems and deliver results.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Skill in assessing customer needs and conducting effective interviews to identify the best solutions.
- Ability to build rapport and relate effectively to a diverse range of customers.
