The Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative (P&C, Life & Health) serves as a crucial point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are addressed professionally and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain positive customer relationships, regularly following up to ensure satisfaction and address ongoing needs.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly service by responding to inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, coverage, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing issues.
- Educate clients using a customer-focused, needs-based approach, helping them understand their insurance options and make informed decisions.
- Uphold a strong work ethic, demonstrating commitment to success, accuracy, and high standards in all daily tasks.
- Provide timely and thorough activity reports to the agent, ensuring all client interactions are documented accurately.
- Stay updated on product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and pursue continuing education to maintain licensure and service excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty license (required).
- Active Life and Health license (required).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment while maintaining individual accountability.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to solve problems efficiently.
