The Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative plays a key role in supporting clients and ensuring a high level of satisfaction through professional and knowledgeable service within the insurance industry. As a full-time member of an established State Farm agent team, you will be responsible for providing clients with comprehensive insurance support, utilizing your understanding of property, casualty, life, and health insurance products. This position is ideal for candidates who hold a Property & Casualty license and a Life and Health license, and who are driven to deliver exceptional customer service while contributing to the growth and success of the agency.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships by proactively reaching out to clients and following up as needed to address questions or concerns.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly service to ensure a positive customer experience and build trust with policyholders.
- Educate clients about various insurance options using a customer-focused, needs-based review process, helping them make informed decisions regarding their coverage.
- Maintain a high standard of work ethic, demonstrating reliability, organization, and commitment to daily operational success.
- Provide timely and thorough activity reports and updates to the supervising agent, ensuring clear communication and accountability within the team.
- Remain current with changes in insurance products, licensing requirements, and technical advancements through ongoing training and continuing education.
Qualifications and Skills
- Active Property & Casualty license and Life and Health license are required for this role.
- Prior experience with State Farm or within the insurance industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to connect with clients in both verbal and written formats.
- Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
