Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative (P&C) - Summary
The Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative (P&C) is responsible for managing client relationships, responding to insurance inquiries, processing policy changes, and delivering a superior customer experience. This role requires an active Property and Casualty license, expertise in State Farm products and procedures, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. As an essential point of contact within the agency, you will handle a wide range of client needs, ensure policy accuracy, and support the agency’s mission to provide value-based insurance solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain positive client relationships through effective communication and follow-up.
- Respond promptly and accurately to customer inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claims, and billing issues.
- Educate clients about insurance products and options using a needs-based, customer-focused approach.
- Process policy updates, endorsements, and claims efficiently and in compliance with agency procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality service and support.
- Maintain detailed and thorough records of customer interactions, service requests, and activity reports for agent review.
- Stay current on product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and continuing education.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and total commitment to success and customer satisfaction every day.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license (required).
- Active Life and Health insurance license (required).
- Previous experience working with State Farm products and systems (required).
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
- Self-motivated and proactive in problem-solving.
- Comfortable learning and using agency management software and computer systems.
