Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative (Full-time) Position OverviewThe Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative plays a critical role in providing high-quality support and service to insurance clients as part of an independent agency team. This full-time position requires active licenses in Property & Casualty as well as Life & Health, ensuring that all customer interactions and policy management activities meet regulatory and industry standards. As a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the agency while developing your skills in a dynamic and client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met through personalized communication and timely follow-up.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage, policy changes, policy transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Utilize a customer-focused, needs-based approach to educate clients on available insurance options, helping them make informed decisions about their coverage.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to achieving daily and long-term success for both clients and the agency team.
- Maintain organizational standards by documenting activity reports and client interactions for review by the agency leadership.
- Stay current with product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and ongoing education as required for the role.
- Active Property & Casualty license (required).
- Active Life and Health license (required).
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred, but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively.
- Self-motivated and proactive in problem-solving, with dedication to customer service excellence.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Commitment to accuracy, timeliness, and thoroughness in all work assignments.
- Comfortable learning and utilizing computer systems and related technology.
