Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative (P&C) Position OverviewWe are seeking a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative (P&C) to join a dynamic and successful State Farm agent team. This full-time position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, building relationships, and supporting clients with their insurance needs. As a valued member of a State Farm independent agent's team, you will utilize your active Property and Casualty license to help customers navigate their insurance options, answer inquiries, and ensure a seamless, positive experience with every interaction.
Responsibilities- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, providing follow-up as needed to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, addressing inquiries related to insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Educate customers about insurance products using a customer-focused, needs-based approach to identify the best coverage options for each individual or family.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a deep commitment to achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals for both individual and team success.
- Remain current with industry product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and ongoing continuing education.
- Provide timely and thorough activity reports to the agent, ensuring transparency and effective communication within the team.
- Active Property & Casualty license required for this full-time role.
- Must be able to obtain a Life & Health insurance license if not already held.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and listening communication skills are essential.
- Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Comfort using computer systems and learning new technology to support job functions.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing an outstanding customer experience and pride in completing work accurately and on time.
