Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative Position Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative to join a dynamic insurance team. This full-time position is ideal for an individual with active Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service within the insurance industry. As a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will play a critical role in supporting customers, ensuring their insurance needs are met, and contributing to the growth of the agency.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing ongoing support and follow-up.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, policy coverages, changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing questions.
- Guide customers through insurance options using a needs-based review process to ensure they are well-informed about available products.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a strong work ethic, maintaining a daily commitment to success in all insurance-related interactions.
- Provide timely and thorough activity reports to the agent and maintain customer records accurately.
- Stay current with product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and continuing education within the insurance industry.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license (required).
- Active Life and Health insurance license (required).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively with clients and team members.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to listen attentively and respond appropriately.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing client needs and concerns.
- Proficiency with computer systems and the ability to learn new software platforms as required.
- Commitment to accuracy and timely completion of all tasks and responsibilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating independent initiative.
