Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers, ensuring consistent communication and follow-up as needed.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly service to clients, addressing questions and concerns with professionalism and discretion.
- Utilize a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate clients about insurance products and coverage options.
- Maintain a high level of ethical standards and a commitment to the agency’s goals and values.
- Identify opportunities to expand services with current customers and develop new business with prospects.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost care and in accordance with company policies.
- Participate fully in training and professional development activities to remain current with industry standards and agency procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in customer service and sales, demonstrating a proven ability to support and grow a book of business.
- Active Property and Casualty insurance license required; candidates must maintain licensure in good standing throughout employment.
- Strong relationship-building, organizational, and multitasking skills, with close attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a focus on delivering a remarkable customer experience.
- Familiarity with the State Farm Agency model and local market operations is highly preferred.
- Ability to commute to the San Diego, CA office for training is required, with remote work flexibility thereafter for local candidates.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with State Farm products and systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in using agency management systems and insurance software tools.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and a willingness to participate in relevant training and development.
