This full-time position is a key member of an independent insurance agency team, providing expertise in both Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance products. The Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative is responsible for handling client inquiries, policy changes, coverage explanations, and claim submissions, ensuring each interaction is positive and informative.
Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture strong customer relationships, providing ongoing support and follow-up as needed to ensure satisfaction with insurance products and services.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by addressing questions about insurance availability, eligibility, policy changes, claims, billing, and coverage details.
- Educate clients on various insurance options through a customer-focused, needs-based review process, helping them make informed decisions that best suit their needs.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, work ethic, and commitment to daily success, contributing to the agency’s goals and reputation.
- Proactively resolve issues and provide solutions to customer concerns, ensuring all interactions reflect the agency’s commitment to quality service.
- Provide timely and thorough activity reports to the agent, ensuring accurate record-keeping and communication within the team.
- Stay up to date on product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and maintain necessary continuing education for compliance and professional development.
Requirements
- Current and valid Property & Casualty insurance license (required).
- Current and valid Life and Health insurance license (required).
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in written, verbal, and listening formats.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
