Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team in Omaha, NE. This full-time, in-office role is designed for individuals who are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service within the insurance industry. As a key member of our established agency, you will utilize your Property & Casualty license to support clients, address inquiries, and contribute to a positive client experience.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and followed up on as necessary.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, policy coverages, policy changes, transfers, claims, and billing.
- Conduct needs-based reviews to educate customers about available insurance options and guide them in selecting the best coverage for their circumstances.
- Support client retention initiatives by providing exceptional, ongoing service and identifying opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with customers using excellent written, verbal, and listening skills.
- Utilize computer systems efficiently and adapt quickly to new technology or processes as needed in the insurance customer service environment.
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license is required.
- Ability to obtain a Life & Health insurance license.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently, including when management is not present in the office.
- Demonstrated proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to assess customer needs effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and relate to a diverse range of clients.
- Proficiency in learning and navigating new computer systems.
