Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative Job OverviewDyche - State Farm Agency is seeking a dedicated and professional Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team in Ottawa, IL. This is a full-time, in-office position, ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and supporting clients with their insurance needs. As a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in building trusted relationships with customers, responding to their inquiries, and helping them navigate the full range of State Farm insurance products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met with care and efficiency.
- Respond promptly and accurately to customer inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Identify customer needs through a consultative, needs-based review process and educate clients about appropriate insurance options.
- Develop leads, schedule appointments, and market suitable products and services to new and existing clients.
- Focus on client retention by providing consistent, high-quality customer service and follow-up support.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve agency goals and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Illinois Property Casualty license.
- Illinois Life and Health license (must have or be able to obtain).
- Preferred sales experience in insurance, retail, telemarketing, or related fields.
- Strong competency and work ethic in selling and servicing all lines of insurance products.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening abilities.
- Self-motivated and proactive in problem-solving with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team environment.
- Proficient in assessing customer needs and conducting effective interviews to determine insurance solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and relate to customers in a professional manner.
- Base pay with an additional monthly bonus program.
