Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative (P&C, CSR) Job Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) with an active Property and Casualty (P&C) license to join a dynamic insurance agency team in Colleyville, TX. This full-time, in-office role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional client experiences. As a CSR, you will play a crucial role in supporting customers, managing policy inquiries, and promoting insurance products in a manner that aligns with the agency’s mission for service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships by providing prompt, accurate, and friendly service both in person and over the phone.
- Respond to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claims submissions, and billing clarifications.
- Apply a needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance products, ensuring they make informed decisions tailored to their individual circumstances.
- Follow up with clients as needed to ensure satisfaction, retention, and to address any outstanding questions or concerns.
- Maintain a high standard of work ethic with a daily commitment to customer service and agency goals.
- Support the agent by providing timely and thorough activity reports and updates on client interactions.
- Assist with general office duties and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Remain current on product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and participate in ongoing continuing education as required.
Required Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty license (P&C) required.
- Life and Health license is preferred.
- Previous experience with State Farm or similar insurance agency is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal, written, and active listening abilities.
- Customer-focused and people-oriented approach to service.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated and proactive in identifying and solving problems.
- Proficient in using computer systems and learning new software applications.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated pride in accuracy and timely completion of tasks.
