Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing consistent and timely follow-up as needed.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, policy transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarifications.
- Utilize a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate clients about their insurance options and help them make informed decisions.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a daily commitment to achieving success for both customers and the agency.
- Assist with a variety of office tasks, including front desk and receptionist duties, research assignments, and supporting part-time associates when needed.
- Provide timely and thorough activity reports to the agent and maintain accuracy in all documentation and communications.
- Stay current with product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and continuing education within the insurance industry.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty license is required for this position.
- Must pass a background check as part of the hiring process.
- High school diploma or GED, and at least 18 years of age.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening abilities.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive in problem-solving, and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.
- Comfortable learning and utilizing computer functions and various software programs, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with Enterprise Customer Relationship Management (ECRM) and Policy Center is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and support office operations as needed.
- Demonstrates pride in completing work accurately and on time.
