A Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in supporting the growth and success of an insurance agency. This full-time position is ideal for licensed professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, building relationships, and providing expert guidance on insurance products. As a member of an independent State Farm agent's team, you will utilize your Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses to assist clients with their insurance needs and ensure ongoing satisfaction across all touchpoints.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain positive customer relationships by proactively reaching out and following up as needed to address questions and concerns.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by responding to inquiries related to insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, billing, claims submissions, and policy transfers.
- Guide customers through needs-based review processes to educate them about insurance options and identify coverage solutions tailored to their unique circumstances.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and a commitment to achieving agency goals each day.
- Provide timely and thorough activity reports to the agent, maintaining transparency and accountability in all client interactions.
- Stay current with product changes, industry developments, and continuing education requirements relevant to Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance.
- Collaborate within a team environment to ensure seamless service delivery and contribute to agency growth.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license (required).
- Active Life and Health insurance license (required).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving and a dedication to providing outstanding customer service.
- Comfortable with learning and utilizing computer functions and agency systems.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
