Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our in-office team. As a core member of a State Farm Agent's office, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality service and support to clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met efficiently and professionally. This full-time position is ideal for individuals who possess a Property and Casualty license, or are willing to obtain one, and who excel in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture strong customer relationships through consistent and reliable communication.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding insurance products, coverage options, policy changes, claims, billing, and eligibility.
- Educate clients about available insurance solutions using a customer-focused, needs-based review process.
- Maintain a high standard of service excellence to ensure elevated customer satisfaction at every interaction.
- Follow up with customers as needed to address questions, provide policy updates, and support their ongoing insurance needs.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic with a commitment to achieving daily and long-term goals.
- Provide timely and thorough activity reports to the State Farm Agent as part of ongoing office operations.
- Stay current with product changes, licensing requirements, and technical developments through continuing education.

Licensing & Education
- Property & Casualty license required (must have or be able to obtain).
- Life & Health license preferred (must have or be able to obtain).
- Must be able to pass a background check.
