Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by following up as needed to ensure satisfaction and continued service.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by responding to inquiries about insurance products, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claims, and billing.
- Educate customers about available insurance options using a customer-focused, needs-based review process.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to success, striving for accuracy and timeliness in all daily activities.
- Schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and effectively market appropriate insurance products and services.
- Deliver timely and thorough activity reports to the agent to ensure clear communication and documentation of client interactions.
- Stay current with product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and continuing education as required by the agency.
Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required for this Bilingual Insurance Customer Service Representative role.
- Active Property & Casualty license (P&C) is required.
- Life & Health license is a plus.
- Prior insurance experience in sales or customer service is required.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-oriented mindset.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving to address client needs effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently as necessary to achieve business goals.
- Proficiency in learning and utilizing computer systems and tools related to insurance service and sales.
- Demonstrated pride in completing work accurately and on time.
