Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative (P&C, Life & Health) Job Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative (P&C, Life & Health) to join a dynamic team with a well-established insurance agency. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for an energetic, motivated professional who holds active Property and Casualty (P&C) and Life and Health insurance licenses. As a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will play a central role in driving customer satisfaction and retention by providing exceptional service to policyholders and prospects, supporting business growth, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers through ongoing communication and follow-up, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly service by responding to inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, policy coverages, changes, transfers, claims processing, and billing clarification.
- Educate clients about insurance products and options using a customer-focused, needs-based approach to ensure clients understand their coverage and can make informed decisions.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and demonstrate a commitment to achieving daily and long-term business goals.
- Provide timely and thorough activity reports and updates to the agent, supporting transparency in operations.
- Stay current with industry product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and continuing education to maintain compliance and deliver up-to-date service.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment by communicating effectively and supporting colleagues as needed.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license (required).
- Active Life and Health insurance license (required).
- Bilingual skills are a plus and welcomed.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, including verbal, written, and listening skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Ability to learn and utilize computer functions and industry-specific systems efficiently.
- Capacity to multi-task and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Employment Type
