The Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a vital role in supporting insurance agents by delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction. As a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will work closely with clients to address their insurance needs, maintain policy records, and provide knowledgeable solutions regarding various insurance products, including property, casualty, life, and health policies. This full-time position offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with customers while developing expertise in the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with clients through prompt and accurate service.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claims processes, and billing inquiries.
- Educate clients about insurance products using a needs-based review process to match solutions to individual client requirements.
- Follow up with customers as needed to ensure satisfaction and continued coverage.
- Maintain a professional, friendly, and customer-oriented approach in all interactions, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to success on a daily basis.
- Provide timely and thorough activity reports and updates to the supervising insurance agent.
- Stay current with changes in insurance products, licensing requirements, and relevant technical developments through ongoing education and training.
Qualifications and Skills
- Active Property & Casualty license is required for this role.
- Life and Health insurance license preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.
