The Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative plays a vital role within a State Farm agent's office, delivering exceptional service and support to policyholders. This full-time position is ideal for professionals who hold active Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses and are passionate about building strong client relationships. Team members are responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience and supporting the agency’s business objectives by providing knowledgeable, timely, and personalized assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain customer relationships by delivering prompt, accurate, and friendly service in all interactions.
- Respond to inquiries regarding insurance products, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Utilize a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about available insurance options, ensuring clients understand their policies and coverage choices.
- Follow up with customers as needed to address questions and provide ongoing policy support.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment by maintaining a strong work ethic and a commitment to daily success.
- Generate timely and thorough activity reports for the agent, keeping records up to date and accurate.
- Stay informed about product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and continuing education relevant to the insurance industry.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty license (required).
- Active Life and Health license (required).
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and listening skills.
