The Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a vital role in supporting the operations of an independent insurance agency. As an Insurance CSR, you will engage with clients to provide outstanding service, address inquiries related to insurance products, and assist with policy management. Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain positive customer relationships through regular follow-ups and effective communication.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and professional customer service by responding to inquiries regarding insurance products, policy changes, claims, billing, and eligibility.
- Educate clients on available insurance options using a needs-based approach, helping them make informed decisions about their coverage.
- Process policy updates, transfers, and claim submissions with attention to detail and compliance.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all client interactions and activities for agency records.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience and contribute to a positive office culture.
- Stay informed about product changes, licensing requirements, and industry developments through ongoing professional education.
