Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative Position OverviewThe Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative plays a pivotal role in supporting the operations of a State Farm independent contractor agent office. This full-time position is ideal for individuals who hold an active Property and Casualty license and are motivated to help clients with their insurance needs. As a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will engage in value-based conversations to deliver excellent customer service, build lasting relationships, and contribute to the overall growth of the agency. The role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, developing your insurance expertise while enhancing the customer experience.
Responsibilities- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring consistent follow-up to address client needs and inquiries.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly service by responding to questions regarding insurance availability, eligibility, policy coverage, changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Use a customer-focused and needs-based review process to educate clients about their insurance options and recommend appropriate products.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to achieving success every day.
- Maintain organized client records and update activity reports for the agent as required.
- Stay informed of product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and participate in ongoing continuing education.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience and efficient office workflow.
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license is required for this role.
- Life and Health insurance license preferred or willingness to obtain as needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proactive problem-solving approach and dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Self-motivated with a desire to excel in a team-oriented environment.
