As a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting customers with their insurance needs. Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain positive customer relationships by following up with clients as needed to ensure satisfaction and address ongoing needs.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries related to insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing questions.
- Utilize a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate clients about available insurance options and help them make informed choices.
- Maintain a strong work ethic with a consistent commitment to daily success and collaborative teamwork.
- Support agency growth by identifying opportunities for additional insurance products that may suit customer needs.
Qualifications
- Proven sales experience in roles such as inside sales representative, outside sales, retail sales associate, or telemarketing is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to listen actively and relate effectively to customers.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to proactively solve problems.
- Self-motivated and capable of working effectively within a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to assess customer needs and conduct productive interviews to determine appropriate insurance solutions.
- Ability to obtain a Property and Casualty license as well as a Life and Health license as required by state regulations.
