Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative (Property & Casualty) Position OverviewThe Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative plays a critical role in delivering exceptional service and support to clients within an insurance agency setting. This full-time opportunity is designed for individuals who possess an active Property and Casualty license, are committed to customer satisfaction, and are seeking to build a rewarding career in the insurance industry. As a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to fostering strong client relationships and supporting the growth of the agency. Employment is with an independent contractor agent affiliated with a major insurance brand.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain positive customer relationships through proactive communication and follow-up.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by addressing inquiries related to insurance products, policy availability, eligibility, coverage details, policy modifications, claim submissions, billing inquiries, and account transfers.
- Utilize a needs-based review process to educate clients on insurance options that best match their individual requirements.
- Consistently demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to achieving daily success and agency objectives.
- Provide timely and thorough activity reports to the agent to ensure seamless operations and accountability.
- Remain current with changes in insurance products, licensing requirements, technical developments, and ongoing education to maintain professional effectiveness.
- Active Property & Casualty license (required).
- Life and Health license (preferred but not mandatory).
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in written, verbal, and listening formats.
- Demonstrated people-oriented approach, strong organizational skills, and high attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and dedicated to providing superior customer service.
