The Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) is an essential member of a dynamic insurance agency team, focusing on delivering outstanding service and support to clients. As a Licensed Insurance CSR, you will utilize your active Property and Casualty license to assist customers with their insurance needs, answer inquiries, and provide guidance on products and services. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and qualify leads through proactive outreach, scheduling appointments, and identifying customer insurance needs.
- Provide information and recommendations on insurance products and services, ensuring each client receives accurate and helpful guidance tailored to their unique situations.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships by following up on inquiries, supporting policy changes, and resolving concerns promptly and professionally.
- Deliver prompt, friendly, and precise customer service, consistently aiming to exceed client expectations in every interaction as a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR).
- Support the agency’s business growth by engaging in value-based conversations that highlight the benefits and coverage options available to clients.
Qualifications
- Active 4-40 or 2-20 insurance license is required for the Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) position.
- 2-15 insurance license is also required.
- Previous experience in insurance sales, customer service, or a related field such as telemarketing, inside sales, outside sales, or retail sales is preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales goals or quotas is preferred.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and listening communication skills are essential to support clients and collaborate with team members.
- Ability to multi-task and effectively manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed and contribute to team achievements.
- Ability to relate to customers and build rapport quickly and effectively.
