Licensed Insurance Agent (P&C) Job Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Insurance Agent (P&C) to join a well-established State Farm agency. This full-time, remote position is ideal for an individual who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service while managing insurance relationships. The agency has proudly served its rural Arizona community for over 50 years, combining a century of team experience and a commitment to using digital tools to enhance the client experience. As a Licensed Insurance Agent (P&C), you will play a key role in meeting the needs of customers and contributing to the agency's ongoing success.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service across multiple channels, including digital platforms.
- Educate clients about insurance options using a needs-based review process tailored to their individual situations.
- Identify and develop new service opportunities with both existing and prospective clients to support business growth.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to daily success and agency goals.
- Provide timely and thorough activity reports to the agent in accordance with office protocols.
- Stay current on insurance products, licensing requirements, technical developments, and continuing education needs.
- Proactively assist customers in adapting to changes by utilizing digital tools and resources provided by the agency.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
Qualifications
- Prior State Farm insurance experience is required.
- An active Arizona Property & Casualty license is required.
- Arizona Life and Health license is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work agency office hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (written, verbal, listening), and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Strong dedication to customer service and teamwork.
- Proficient in learning and using computer functions and digital platforms.
- Ability to multi-task and manage sensitive, confidential information with discretion.
