Responsibilities- Develop new client leads, schedule appointments, and identify customer needs to recommend appropriate insurance products and services.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, following up as necessary to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Engage with clients in both English and Spanish to provide accessible service to a wider customer base, as bilingual ability is preferred.
- Continuously pursue opportunities to increase sales and meet or exceed established sales goals and quotas.
- Work collaboratively with team members and contribute to a positive and productive office environment.
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is preferred and highly valued for this Licensed Insurance Agent role.
- Experience in insurance sales, including Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life & Health (L&H), is preferred. Candidates must be able to obtain both licenses if not already held.
- Previous experience in sales, whether in outside sales, inside sales, retail, or telemarketing, is beneficial.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets or quotas is preferred.
- Outstanding communication skills, including written, verbal, and active listening abilities, are essential.
- Strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently are important for success in this role.
- Proven ability to multitask and effectively manage time and priorities in a busy office environment.
- Demonstrated ability to relate to and connect with customers from diverse backgrounds.
- Must be able to obtain a valid Property & Casualty license and a Life & Health license in accordance with state regulations.
