Licensed Insurance Agent (Remote, Full-time) Job Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Insurance Agent with prior State Farm experience to join our remote team on a full-time basis. This position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the growth of a reputable insurance agency. As a Licensed Insurance Agent, you will utilize your expertise in property and casualty insurance as well as life and health coverage to help clients make informed decisions about their protection needs. The role is suited for those with a proven track record in the insurance industry, particularly within the State Farm agency system.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture customer relationships through regular communication and follow-up.
- Conduct needs-based reviews to educate clients on available insurance options and recommend suitable products.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, work ethic, and commitment to achieving daily and long-term success.
- Identify opportunities to provide additional services to both new and existing clients, contributing to agency growth.
- Respond promptly to phone calls and greet clients with a positive, friendly attitude.
- Deliver accurate and timely customer service, including handling inquiries regarding insurance policies, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claims, and billing.
- Provide thorough activity reports to the agent, ensuring transparent and up-to-date communication.
- Stay current with industry developments, changes in products, and licensing requirements through ongoing education and training.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with a State Farm agency is required.
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license is required.
- Active Life and Health insurance license is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Self-motivated, proactive in problem-solving, and committed to continuous personal and professional development.
- Ability to learn and utilize computer systems relevant to insurance operations.
- Capable of multi-tasking and managing time effectively in a remote work environment.
