Licensed Insurance Agent Job OverviewOur State Farm agency is seeking a dedicated and driven Licensed Insurance Agent for a full-time opportunity in Mandeville, LA. Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage leads, schedule appointments, and identify customer needs to recommend suitable insurance products and services.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships by following up and addressing ongoing needs.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarifications.
- Meet or exceed sales goals and quotas, contributing to the success of the agency.
- Engage in marketing initiatives to promote the agency’s offerings and build a network of satisfied clients.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve agency objectives and provide support as needed.
- Active Property and Casualty insurance license required.
- Life and Health insurance license preferred.
- Prior experience in insurance sales is preferred, including outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing.
- Demonstrated success in meeting sales goals or quotas.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced office environment.
- Strong self-motivation and ability to relate well to customers.
- Must be able to commute to the Mandeville, LA office as this is an on-site position.
