Insurance Sales Agent OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Insurance Sales Agent to join our award-winning team at a State Farm agency in Canton, OH. As an Insurance Sales Agent, you will play a key role in developing leads, building strong client relationships, and supporting the growth of our agency. Responsibilities- Develop and nurture leads through various channels, including scheduling appointments and identifying client needs to recommend appropriate insurance products and services.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, following up with clients as necessary to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term loyalty.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Consistently meet or exceed established sales goals and quotas, demonstrating a commitment to agency growth and personal success.
- Previous experience in insurance sales or a related sales environment (such as outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing) is preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals and quotas is a plus.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills are required to effectively engage with customers and team members.
- Self-motivated with a strong ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to relate to customers and understand their unique insurance needs.
- Active Property & Casualty license is required.
- Active Life & Health license is also required or preferred.
