Insurance Account Manager Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Insurance Account Manager to join our team on a full-time basis in Denton, TX. This opportunity is with a State Farm independent contractor agent and is ideal for professionals who are passionate about providing quality customer service and building lasting relationships within the insurance industry. Key Responsibilities- Develop leads and schedule appointments with prospective clients to promote insurance products and services.
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions, including Property & Casualty and Life & Health products.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent follow-up and attentive service.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, responding to inquiries on insurance availability, eligibility, policy coverages, changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing.
- Support agency sales goals by effectively marketing appropriate products and services that meet individual client requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the agency team to implement strategies for customer retention and agency growth.
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license is required.
- Life & Health insurance license is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience in insurance customer service or account management is highly desirable.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a dynamic office setting.
- Strong self-motivation and drive to achieve individual and team goals.
- Ability to relate effectively to customers and colleagues in a professional manner.
- Must be able to commute reliably to our office in Denton, TX. This is an in-office position.
