Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - Summary
- Provide comprehensive clinical social work services, including assessment, treatment planning, and counseling, to a diverse patient population.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community agencies to facilitate referrals and optimize patient care.
- Utilize clinical expertise to address a wide range of psychosocial, psychiatric, and medical issues.
- Maintain high standards of ethical and professional practice in accordance with LCSW licensure requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate appropriate referrals to community resources and government agencies for additional services.
- Independently assess the psychosocial functioning and needs of patients and their families, formulating and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and provide evidence-based psychosocial interventions to individuals from varied backgrounds.
- Utilize knowledge of medical and mental health diagnoses, disabilities, and treatment procedures, including acute, chronic, and traumatic illnesses/injuries.
- Implement treatment modalities for individuals, families, and groups experiencing psychiatric, medical, or social problems to help them achieve treatment goals.
- Provide counseling and psychotherapy services within the scope of LCSW licensure to individuals, couples, groups, and families.
- Offer consultation to other clinical staff regarding the psychosocial needs of patients and the impact of these factors on healthcare and treatment adherence.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active, unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from a program fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Demonstrated experience in providing clinical social work services, including assessments, treatment planning, and counseling.
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with genuine respect for diversity in all its forms.
