Lead HVAC Installer - Summary- Lead HVAC Installer responsible for overseeing and executing residential HVAC installations
- Collaborates closely with installation crews to ensure quality workmanship and code compliance
- Directly communicates with homeowners to deliver excellent customer service
- Mentors and trains junior installers, supporting their professional development
- Represents Joe Cool Home Services with professionalism and integrity
- Lead and coordinate residential HVAC installation crews on various projects
- Install and replace heat pumps, air conditioners, furnaces, air handlers, and mini-split systems
- Interpret and follow installation plans, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications
- Supervise the installation of ductwork, refrigerant lines, and electrical hookups
- Ensure installations meet all local and national code requirements, permits, and quality standards
- Train, mentor, and support the professional development of junior installers on the crew
- Maintain thorough and accurate job documentation and paperwork throughout the installation process
- Keep company vehicles clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary tools and equipment
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, colleagues, and company leadership
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the company's reputation at all times

- Minimum of 3 years residential HVAC installation experience; previous lead or crew leadership experience preferred
- Current EPA Certification required
- Strong understanding of HVAC system sizing, layout, and installation best practices
- Experience working directly with homeowners in a customer-facing capacity
- Ability to lead a team and manage installation projects efficiently
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and a strong work ethic
- Commitment to teamwork and delivering superior customer service
- Proven experience as a Lead HVAC Installer or senior installation technician
- Exceptional leadership and mentoring abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
