Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) - Summary- Provide direct patient care to expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, administering medications and interventions as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Deliver patient education and emotional support to mothers and their families
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established protocols and procedures
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for laboring mothers and newborns
- Monitor vital signs, fetal heart tones, and labor progress
- Assist with labor induction, pain management, and delivery procedures
- Provide support and information to patients and their families throughout the childbirth process
- Coordinate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals during deliveries
- Initiate emergency interventions when necessary
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Minimum of one year of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience preferred
