Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) - Summary- Full-time position providing expert care in labor and delivery settings
- Opportunity to work with a supportive and collaborative healthcare team

- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery unit, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care
- Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs, recognize and respond to complications or emergencies
- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals during labor, delivery, and postpartum procedures
- Educate patients and their families about the labor process, postpartum care, and newborn care
- Administer medications, IVs, and other treatments as prescribed
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in accordance with facility policies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Support and advocate for patients and families throughout the childbirth experience

- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of one year of recent labor and delivery nursing experience preferred
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification may be required based on facility
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
