Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) - Summary- Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns during the labor and delivery process
- Work collaboratively with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain a patient-centered approach to care in a supportive environment
- Access to real-time support and resources from the Openwork Health team
- Monitor maternal and fetal health before, during, and after delivery
- Administer medications and manage epidurals as ordered by physicians
- Assist with labor induction and support mothers through various stages of labor
- Document patient care accurately in accordance with facility protocols
- Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn health
- Respond to medical emergencies and execute appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes
