Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) - Summary- Provide direct patient care to mothers and newborns throughout the labor and delivery process
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care
- Support patients and their families with compassion and expertise
- Participate in continuous learning and professional development
- Monitor vital signs and fetal heart rates during labor
- Administer medications and assist with pain management techniques
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families
- Assist physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and postpartum procedures
- Document patient progress and interventions accurately in medical records
- Respond promptly to emergencies and participate in clinical decision-making
