Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) - Summary- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients and newborns in an acute care setting.
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated healthcare team to support mothers and families throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods.
- Ensure all care meets regulatory requirements and professional standards for patient safety and well-being.

- Monitor and assess the condition of pregnant patients throughout labor and delivery.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or midwives.

- Assist physicians and other healthcare providers during labor, delivery, and emergency situations.

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Minimum of two years of acute care nursing experience required, with a focus on labor and delivery preferred.
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Current NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification, as required for acute care facilities.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is mandatory.
- AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) certification required.
