Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations in a full-service restaurant setting, ensuring high standards in food preparation, presentation, and safety.
- Maintain and execute a scratch menu, demonstrating meticulous attention to ingredient quality, presentation, and culinary detail.
- Lead kitchen staff in day-to-day operations, providing ongoing mentorship, coaching, and training to foster professional growth and team performance.
- Recruit, attract, and retain top talent, building a motivated and skilled culinary team committed to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Monitor and manage food, labor, and operational costs, with responsibility for P&L performance; implement cost-control measures and analyze financial reports to maximize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, health and safety regulations, and local ordinances at all times.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to roll out new menu items, participate in new store openings, and support ongoing company growth initiatives.
- Model and promote a positive, inclusive, and professional work environment aligned with company values and mission.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Kitchen Manager (KM) role within a full-service restaurant environment.
- Demonstrated success managing kitchen operations, staff development, and financial performance.
- Expertise in scratch kitchen execution, food safety, and quality assurance best practices.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in analyzing and managing P&L statements and other key financial metrics.
