Java Developer (Java, Spring Boot, REST API) - Summary- Remote, full-time position focused on enterprise Java development within HR technology environments
- Key focus on severance programs, workforce management, and benefits system support
- Work with cutting-edge technologies such as Java 17, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server
- Collaborate with both technical teams and business stakeholders to drive innovative solutions
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications to support HR and business operations
- Build and enhance Spring Boot microservices and RESTful APIs for seamless integration and scalability
- Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot database queries and integrations across PostgreSQL and SQL Server environments
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements related to severance programs, workforce management, and benefits
- Support application enhancements, manage production issues, and lead ongoing maintenance activities
- Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Ensure code quality, security, and documentation standards are met throughout the development lifecycle

- Extensive hands-on experience in Java development (Java 17 preferred)
- Proven ability to design, develop, and support enterprise applications in HR-focused environments
- Strong background in Spring Boot and microservices architecture
- Expertise in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs
- Advanced SQL development skills, including PostgreSQL and SQL Server
- Experience working in Agile software development teams
