Working as a Janitor provides the opportunity to perform a variety of cleaning and minor maintenance tasks in a dynamic environment. Janitor - Summary- Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe facility environment
- Performs daily cleaning, minor maintenance, and support services
- Ensures all areas are presentable for employees, clients, and visitors
- Supports the overall mission of providing a healthy setting
- Clean and sanitize offices, classrooms, restrooms, break rooms, hallways, and other facility areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and polish floors using commercial cleaning equipment
- Empty trash and recycling containers and ensure proper waste disposal
- Clean windows, mirrors, walls, furniture, and fixtures
- Restock restroom and facility supplies as needed
- Operate and maintain vacuums, floor scrubbers, buffers, and carpet cleaners
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and repair needs to management
- Assist with room setups, furniture movement, and special event preparations
- Follow all safety procedures and properly handle cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Monitor inventory of custodial supplies and communicate replenishment needs
- Ensure facility security by locking and unlocking designated areas as assigned
- Respond promptly to spills, emergencies, and special cleaning requests

- Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or facility maintenance experience preferred
