Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams to deliver comprehensive pre- and post-sales technical support, such as attending discovery meetings, conducting site visits, preparing proposals and presentations, performing technical assessments, supporting implementation, and providing ongoing technical account management.
- Deploy and manage Windows Servers and Active Directory systems, ensuring reliable access and functionality for clients.
- Design and implement Local Area Networks (LAN), optimizing connectivity and network performance.
- Plan, implement, and monitor network security measures to safeguard client data and infrastructure.
- Maintain and optimize both network software and hardware to ensure stability and efficiency.
- Build and deploy file servers and integrate cloud computing solutions for scalable storage and resource management.
- Configure and deploy Voice over IP (VOIP) solutions, adapting to client communication needs.
- Troubleshoot network infrastructure issues and resolve escalated service requests requiring advanced technical expertise.
- Manage Microsoft Exchange Server deployments and ongoing performance.
- Support installation and maintenance of telephone solutions, ensuring effective communication systems.
- Monitor alert systems, responding to events and following established guidelines for resolution.
- Interpret system event logs to identify issues and implement repairs or maintenance as needed.
- Lead the onboarding process for new users, setting up accounts and configuring access as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- At least three years of hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing networking equipment, Windows servers and workstations, Exchange Server, and Active Directory environments.
- Two to three years of experience in a client-facing technical role, such as sales engineering or technical support, preferably within a managed services provider (MSP) context.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage business clients and understand their technology needs and challenges.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience developing technical solution proposals and managing implementation processes to meet business objectives.
- Proven track record of reliability, professionalism, teamwork, and a results-oriented approach.
- Solid understanding of business productivity systems and their integration into client environments.
- Experience with RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) tools is a plus.
- Advanced problem-solving skills, outstanding customer service orientation, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Prior sales training and experience is considered beneficial.
- Experience working in an MSP environment is strongly preferred.
Preferred Certifications
- CompTIA Network+ and/or CompTIA Security+ certification
- MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate), MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert), or MCITP (Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
- CCNA or CCIE (Cisco Certified Network Associate/Expert) certifications
