Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams to deliver technical expertise during pre-sales and post-sales activities, including discovery meetings, site visits, proposals, presentations, technical assessments, and ongoing account management.
- Deploy and manage Windows Servers and Active Directory, ensuring seamless integration and functionality within client environments.
- Design and implement Local Area Networks (LANs) to meet organizational needs.
- Establish and monitor network security protocols, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot both network software and hardware components to ensure reliable performance.
- Build and deploy file servers and implement cloud computing solutions to support evolving business requirements.
- Configure and deploy Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) solutions for enhanced communication capabilities.
- Diagnose and resolve network infrastructure issues, employing advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Administer and manage Microsoft Exchange Server environments to support business communications.
- Support and maintain telephone solutions as part of the overall IT infrastructure.
- Monitor alert systems, responding appropriately to incidents as per established guidelines.
- Interpret event log messages to identify and effectuate necessary repairs or escalations.
- Handle escalated service requests, delivering enhanced support and timely resolutions.
- Facilitate new user onboarding, ensuring a smooth and secure entry into client IT environments.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing networking equipment, Windows servers, workstations, Exchange Server, and Active Directory.
- At least 3 years of experience in a client-facing environment, such as sales engineering or technical consulting.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage clients at a business level, understanding their unique technology and business challenges.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
- Proven experience in writing proposals for, and implementing, technical solutions tailored to business needs.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and professional, with a collaborative, team-focused mentality.
- Solid understanding of technology and business productivity systems.
- Experience with RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) tools such as Kaseya or ConnectWise is a plus.
- Familiarity with PSA (Professional Services Automation) ticketing systems such as Autotask or ConnectWise is an advantage.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, customer service orientation, and multitasking abilities.
- Sales training experience is considered a plus.
- Experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment is highly valued.
Preferred Certifications (Not Required)
- CompTIA Network+ (Net+) and/or CompTIA Security+ certifications.
- Microsoft certifications such as MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate), MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert), or MCITP (Microsoft Certified IT Professional).
- Cisco certifications including CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) are a plus.
