Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including participation in discovery meetings, site visits, technical assessments, client proposals, presentations, and ongoing account management.
- Deploy and manage Windows Servers and Active Directory environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Design, implement, and support Local Area Networks (LANs), focusing on reliability and scalability for business operations.
- Implement and monitor network security protocols to safeguard client data and infrastructure from potential threats.
- Optimize and maintain both network software and hardware, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient operations.
- Build and deploy file servers and collaborate on cloud computing solutions to support business continuity and scalability.
- Configure and deploy Voice over IP (VOIP) solutions, enhancing communication capabilities for clients.
- Troubleshoot network infrastructure issues, providing prompt and effective resolutions to maintain service quality.
- Manage Microsoft Exchange Server environments to facilitate secure and reliable business communications.
- Support the implementation and management of telephone solutions, ensuring integration with existing IT systems.
- Monitor alert systems and respond in accordance with established guidelines to ensure proactive incident management.
- Interpret event log messages and utilize diagnostic tools to identify and repair system issues efficiently.
- Receive and address escalated service requests requiring advanced technical expertise and rapid response.
- Handle new user onboarding, ensuring seamless integration of users into the IT environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing networking equipment, Windows servers and workstations, Exchange Server, and Active Directory environments.
- At least 3 years of experience in a client-facing technical role, such as sales engineering or technical support.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients at a business level to assess and resolve technical and business challenges.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing proposals and implementing technical solutions that align with business objectives.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, reliable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Solid understanding of technology platforms and business productivity systems.
- Experience with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools is a plus.
- Advanced problem-solving abilities, extraordinary customer service skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality support.
- Sales training or experience is an asset.
- Experience working in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment is highly desirable.
Preferred Certifications
- CompTIA Network+ (Net+) and/or CompTIA Security+ certifications.
- MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate), MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert), or MCITP (Microsoft Certified IT Professional) credentials.
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) certifications are a strong plus.
