We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled IT Support Engineer (Level III) for a full-time position in Atlanta, GA. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide both pre- and post-sales technical support, including participating in discovery meetings, site visits, proposals, presentations, technical assessments, solution implementation, and ongoing technical account management for clients in Atlanta, GA.
- Deploy, configure, and manage Windows Servers and Active Directory within various client environments, ensuring high availability and security compliance.
- Design, implement, and maintain Local Area Networks (LANs) to meet business requirements.
- Implement and monitor robust network security measures, adhering to industry best practices and company standards.
- Optimize and maintain both network software and hardware to maximize efficiency and reliability.
- Build, deploy, and support file servers and cloud computing solutions to enhance client productivity and data accessibility.
- Configure and deploy Voice over IP (VOIP) solutions for business communication needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
- Manage and support Microsoft Exchange Server to maintain smooth email and collaboration operations.
- Provide support for business telephone solutions, addressing both hardware and software components.
- Monitor system alerts and take appropriate actions in accordance with established guidelines.
- Interpret event log messages to diagnose and repair technical problems efficiently.
- Handle escalated service requests that require advanced technical expertise and enhanced response times.
- Assist with onboarding new users, ensuring seamless integration into client IT systems.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of four years of hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing networking equipment, Windows servers, workstations, Exchange server, and Active Directory in a professional setting.
- At least three years of experience working in a client-facing environment, such as sales engineering, providing technical solutions and support.
- Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication, with the ability to discuss technical issues at a business level and address client needs effectively in Atlanta, GA.
- Superior organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Proven experience in writing proposals and implementing technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and reliable professional who thrives in a team environment.
- Strong understanding of technology and business productivity systems relevant to the IT Support Engineer (Level III) role.
- Experience with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools is considered a plus.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, customer service orientation, and capacity to deliver high-quality solutions under pressure.
- Sales training experience is advantageous.
- Prior experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment is highly desirable.
Preferred Certifications
- CompTIA Network+ and/or CompTIA Security+ certifications.
- Microsoft certifications such as MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator), MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer), MCITP (Microsoft Certified IT Professional), or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert.
- Cisco certifications such as CCNA or CCIE are considered a significant asset.
