Our client, a prominent Managed Services Provider (MSP) based in Scottsdale, AZ, is seeking a skilled IT Help Desk Technician (MSP) to join their team on a full-time basis. The IT Help Desk Technician (MSP) role is essential for providing first-level technical support, troubleshooting, and assistance to end-users within a fast-paced service environment. Responsibilities
- Deliver prompt and courteous end-user assistance for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Windows desktop-related technical concerns.
- Support and assist with the maintenance of Windows Server 2016 and 2019 environments.
- Monitor alert and ticketing systems, responding appropriately based on documented guidelines.
- Diagnose and resolve system errors using event logs and documented troubleshooting procedures.
- Handle escalated service requests that require advanced technical attention and timely resolution.
- Facilitate new user onboarding, including account setup and system access configuration.
- Assist with installation and support of network services and equipment for both LAN and WAN environments.
- Provide installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting support for network hardware components.
- Offer technical support for integrated systems such as door card access, wander guard, lighting, and HVAC controls.
Qualifications
- Two to three years of experience in IT help desk, desktop support, IT support analyst, or related IT technical support roles.
- Familiarity with Managed Services Provider (MSP) operations is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools such as ConnectWise, Kaseya, or Ninja.
- Experience with Professional Services Automation (PSA) or ticketing software, such as Autotask.
- Background in network and firewall administration, including experience with SonicWall and Meraki devices.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for network, server, and workstation issues.
- Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively to groups.
- Proven reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional growth within the IT field.
